Ikawa Sculpture Store was established in 1932. Since ancient times, shrine and temple decorations have been crafted by carving wood with chisels. This type of wood carving is characterized by its rich details and fine depiction. Third-generation successor Horimasa creates dumbbells featuring cloud motif, which is a traditional, classic wood carving decoration. Thanks to his expert skills and techniques, Horimasa has expanded his production to a range of 5 different types of wood, each one having its specific hardness and grain.
