Tokushima Prefecture has enacted the "Tokushima Ai Indigo Day and the Ordinance to Establish the Color of Tokushima Prefecture" in order to deepen the interest and understanding of the people of Tokushima Prefecture toward ai indigo, to pass on the ai indigo culture of the prefecture, and to promote the ai indigo industry, as well as to promote the appeal of ai indigo in Japan and abroad.
Based on this ordinance, the following ai indigo related efforts will be intensively implemented on July 24, which is "Tokushima Ai Indigo Day" and in July, which is "Tokushima Ai Indigo Promotion Month".
